**IMPORTANT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR OUR CLIENTS**
Dear Blue Cross Pet Clients,
Our purpose and commitment is to continue to provide essential veterinary care while providing the safest environment necessary for our team members, pet parents, and community.
To comply with the shelter in place ordinance, we have adjusted our patient in-take process. Clients will not be allowed inside the facility. Please go to the right side of the building, walk down a small alleyway, and when you reach the door, please ring the doorbell and a veterinary assistant will get your intake information and take your pet inside the building for the examination. If there is a line ahead of you, please wait for your turn on one of the designated blue "x" on the floor. We are only assisting one client at a time. You may wait for your pet outside of the building or in your car, but you may not wait in the small alleyway as it is too small to comply with social distancing protocols.
After the doctor has evaluated your pet, the doctor or staff member will call you with the examination details and recommendations. We will provide estimates via email the following business day. After payment is collected over the phone, you will come back to the side door and ring the doorbell for assistance. If there is a line ahead of you, please wait your turn.
If you are picking up a prescription refill, please pay over the phone and a staff member will hand you your prescription outside.

Additionally, in consideration of your personal health and that of our staff, if you:
- Are experiencing any signs of illness (fever/chills, shortness of breath, cough, runny nose, sneezing);
- Have been in contact with anyone that has been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or;
- Are caring for someone who has been ill in the past 14 days;
Please reschedule your appointment to a later date.
